Do you have a Hawaiian adventure or discovery you would like to share? Please kokua! Discover Garden is currently looking for contributors of quality content to the site. It’s a great way to promote your website, business, writing or photography. If you like what we’re talking about and would like to contribute in any way, please contact us and choose “Contribute” as the subject line.

What We’re Looking For

Pretty much anything uniquely related to Hawaii. Actually, it’s probably easier to explain what we’re not interested in publishing. We are not interested in anything related to hotels, vacation rentals or overly commercial tours and attractions. If you would like to promote something of that nature, feel free to use our forum. We are particularly interested in unique locations and experiences in the islands, local hero’s and artists, hiking and camping, ocean sports and activities, eco-friendly organizations, travel tips and humorous articles.

Rules and Guidelines

You’re helping us out, so we’re not trying to be strict. These are just a few common sense guidelines and suggestions when submitting an article to Discover Garden.

• At least 400 words, unless you’re submitting a top 10 list
• Use the spell check please
• We’re cool with self promotion, just don’t overdo it
• No affiliate links please
• We reserve the right to edit your article, we’ll be nice
• Photos are good, we’ll survive if you don’t have any though
• Use Aloha Spirit, no haters or offensive content please

What You Get

We provide all authors with their own profile page and links to their site or blog. If you’re interested in contributing several articles we will provide you with a personal login and password. You will have a new line on your resume and some much needed self promotion in tough economic times. Unfortunately, Discover Garden is not currently in a position to offer compensation for content.
